Sally Lunn’s Bun House (actually Tea Room) – Bath, England. April 2014. ***

I had high hopes for this place. This lovely “oldest house in town” in one of the loveliest places on earth was a great place to take a break from heavy sight-seeing. But my Lunn bun was a bit disappointing, as it was just a large piece of bread with some type of lemon curdish glaze. I also had a savory sandwich and a pot of tea…but the Lunn bun afterwards was just too much bread. Diane opted for the bread pudding. 3 stars. $21.63US for one person.
